1. Scope of processing of personal data
We process the personal data of users of our Internet site only insofar as this is necessary to provide a secure and functioning website as well as our contents and services.

We process personal data in different ways:
Technical necessity (see section 2)
Cookies (see section 3)
Newsletter (see section 4)

The personal data are not used to prepare a user profile and no automated decision processes are applied.

2. Technical necessity

Data categories
Every time our Internet site is accessed, our system automatically collects personal data of the user and information from the computer system of the calling computer. The following data are collected:

Information about the type of browser (and its version), the operating system, the Internet service provider, the IP address, date and time of access, Internet pages from which the user's system accesses our Internet site, Internet pages accessed by the user's system via our Internet site, click streams;

The data are also stored in the log files of our system. These data are not stored together with other personal data of the user.

Purpose of data processing
The storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the website to be delivered to the user's computer. For this, the IP address of the user must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The data are stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the Internet site. In addition, the data help us to optimise the Internet site and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. No evaluation of the data for marketing purposes takes place in this context.

Lawful basis for data processing
The lawful basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 4, Art. 13 para. 1 FADP and Art. 6 para. 1 (f) GDPR in the scope of the GDPR as the storage is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the person concerned do not outweigh the aforementioned interest. Our legitimate interest is justified by the fact that we cannot publish the Internet site if the necessary technical settings are not available or cannot be stored or processed. Processing is also necessary to identify, fight and document attacks on the integrity and functionality of the Internet site. This overrides the interests of the users of the Internet site as it is the user's personal decision to visit the Internet site and users can at any time terminate the processing of their data by leaving the Internet site.

Deletion of personal data
The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for achieving the purpose for which they were collected. Data collected for the provision of the Internet site are deleted when the respective session has ended.

Data stored in log files are deleted after seven months at the latest. Further storage is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or alienated, so that it is no longer possible to identify the user.

Right of objection
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files are absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, the user has no right of objection. If users wish to prevent future and more extensive storage, they must leave the website and refrain from accessing this website in future.

3. Use of cookies
Our Internet site uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the Internet browser or by the Internet browser on the user's computer system. If a user visits a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic character string that enables a unique identification of the browser when the website is called up again.

The following data are stored and transmitted in the cookies:

Cookies accepted
The user data collected by technically necessary cookies are not used to create user profiles.

In addition to the technically necessary cookies, we also use cookies that are not technically necessary but enable an analysis of the user's surfing behaviour. The following data are processed in this way:

Entered search terms, frequency of page views, use of website functions, anonymised IP

Purpose of data processing
"Analysis cookies" are used to improve the quality of our website and its content. Through analysis cookies we learn how the website is used and can thus continuously optimise our offer. The purpose of using cookies is also to simplify the use of the Internet site for users. Some functions of our Internet site cannot be offered without the use of cookies. For this it is necessary that the browser be recognised even after a page change.

Lawful basis for data processing
The lawful basis for the processing of personal data in connection with cookies is the consent of the user pursuant to Art. 4 para. 5 FADP and, in the scope of the GDPR, Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR.

When accessing our Internet site, users are informed about the use of cookies for analytical purposes and their consent to the processing of personal data used in this context is obtained. In this context, reference is also made to this data privacy statement.

Rights of users as regards data processing in the form of cookies
Cookies are stored on the user's computer and are then transmitted to our site. Therefore, you as a user also have full control over the use of cookies. You can deactivate/delete or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your Internet browser. 4. Newsletter
You can subscribe to a free newsletter on our Internet site.

Data categories
In addition to the data categories mentioned in sections 2 and 3, the following data captured in the input mask are also transmitted to us:
First name (if provided voluntarily by the user), e-mail address, language, date and time of registration, consent to data privacy statement

Purpose of data processing
The capture of the user's e-mail address serves to allow us to deliver the newsletter. The capture of the user's first name allows us to personally address the user; users are not forced to enter their first names – the field can be left empty when registering for the newsletter.

The other personal data collected during the subscription process are used to prevent misuse of services or e-mail addresses and to document compliance with data privacy regulations.

Lawful basis for data processing
The lawful basis for the processing of personal data in connection with cookies is the consent of the user pursuant to Art. 4 para. 5 FADP and, in the scope of the GDPR, Art. 6 para. 1 (a) GDPR.

Deletion of data
The user's personal data captured for the purposes of the newsletter are immediately deleted when they are no longer needed for achieving the purpose for which they were collected, i.e. when the user unsubscribes from the newsletter.

The newsletter subscription can be terminated by the user at any time without having to provide reasons. To this end, each newsletter contains a link to an input mask. This makes it possible to revoke the consent given for storing the personal data collected during the subscription process.

5. Revocation of permission
Users have the option at any time to revoke their consent to the processing of their personal data that was given in connection with the use of the Internet site, in particular the data required for the delivery of newsletters, without giving reasons.

Users who contact us by e-mail can at any time revoke their consent to the storing of their personal data for which their consent provided the lawful basis for processing by sending an e-mail to info-marketing@bellfoodgroup.com. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. If action has already been taken based on the communication that has already taken place and has legally binding consequences for us or the person concerned, or if we are legally authorised or obliged to archive the data, we are entitled to refuse the deletion request.

The revocation of consent shall not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.

6. Communication to third parties; EEA and Switzerland
We do not communicate personal data that we collect in the context of our Internet site to third parties with the following exceptions:

a)Companies of the Bell Food Group, i.e. the Group to which we belong, where various services such as the IT centre are organised centrally and for the purpose of the anonymised analysis of data for the preparation of statistics and strategies – the most important companies belonging to the Bell Food Group are listed in the interim and annual reports of Bell Food Group Ltd that can be accessed at https://www.bellfoodgroup.com/de/investoren/;
b)Service providers that help us to maintain, service and update our Internet site and who have entered into data processing contracts with us;
c)Government institutions and courts that are authorised to bindingly instruct us to deliver data.

The data are processed in the European Economic Area and in Switzerland. The EU Commission has issued an adequacy decision as defined by Art. 45 GDPR (2000/518/EC).

7. Rights of the user
You have the following rights with regard to the processing of the data: under the circumstances prescribed by law, you have the right to request information about your personal data that are processed by us as well as the right to request us to correct, delete or limit the processing of your data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your data as well as the right to data portability. If you have at any time given or will in future give your consent to the processing of your data, you have the right to revoke this consent.

You may appeal to a supervisory authority at any time if you believe that we are processing personal data in contravention of the applicable data protection legislation.

The Bell Food Group does not apply any automated decision processes or profiling.

8. Google Analytics
This website uses the "Google Analytics" service, which is provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) for analysis of website usage by users. The service uses "cookies" - text files which are stored on your terminal. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

IP anonymisation is used on this website. The IP addresses of users within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area are abbreviated. This abbreviation eliminates the personal reference to your IP address. As part of the contract data agreement concluded between the website operators and Google Inc., Google uses the information collected to evaluate the use of the website and website activity and to provide services related to Internet use.

You can prevent the storage of cookies on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. There is no guarantee that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.
